The area is well serviced by trains with stations at Skipton, Gargrave, Hellifield and Long Preston.

Trains from Skipton to Leeds are approx. every half hour throughout the day as are the trains from Skipton to Bradford.

There are 6 trains per day in each direction between Skipton and Carlisle and 6 per day to Morecambe

Inland Waterways

Skipton and Gargrave are located on the Leeds Liverpool Canal.

Many boat owners visit Skipton each year and are well catered for with adequate moorings and facilities.
